WATCH Police called to disturbance at Trainspotting 2 screening: Man Arrested (video)

A man was arrested at a screening of the new Trainspotting 2 when two officers physically escorted him out of the building.

The dramatic scenes unfolded in front of shocked cinema goers and movie fans in Livingston last night when the police were called to a disturbance at a local cinema.

It is believed the man, who was there with two female friends, had been drinking excessively, was being disruptive and noisy during the film and verbally abusive to other customers and staff.

It is scenes reminiscent of the time a group of drunken and rowdy women attacked a young couple during a first showing of raunchy “mummy porn” film 50 shades of grey.

The couple were targeted after the girl politely asked the group to keep the noise down as they were whooping and cheering throughout the movie, culminating in her boyfriend getting glassed.

Three women were arrested after that attack.

Trainspotting 2 has been raking millions in it’s first week of release and has been hailed as a classic by the critics.

The full cast return 20 years after the iconic original.
