Rangers forward Alfredo Morelos made his long awaited Colombia debut in a 2-1 win against Venezuela last night.
The moment every young boy dreams of was made even sweeter with the fact he replaced national hero and icon Radamel Falcao with the scoreline sitting at 1-1.
The stage was set for ‘El Buffalo’ to become a hero and stake a claim for a starting place- but it didn’t quite go to plan.
The 22-year-old has been banging them in since his move to the southside of Glasgow a year and a half ago- but he has also been gaining a reputation as someone who misses the odd sitter.
And when his chance finally came to put his country ahead against their rivals this happened….

Luckily for him he was spared when Yimmi Chara scored in the last minute to give the Colombians the three points.
Morelos has become fans favourite at Ibrox with his work rate and eye for goal but on this evidence he might still have a bit to go before the Colombian fans are shouting for him to replace the likes of Falcao permanently.
