A young girl has been left bloodied and bruised after being brutally battered in Strathclyde Park.
19-year-old Caitlin Sheperd from the east end of Glasgow had gone a drive through the park with 2 friends when the nightmare began.
Two older girls parked in front of Caitlin before approaching her car without warning and dragged her half way out before laying into her with fists and weapons.
Speaking of the ordeal she said: “I was out driving with 2 pals at Strathclyde park, two girls were sitting right behind my car right up the back of me revving their engine. So I pulled into a parking space thinking they wanted to pull out past me, but they parked behind me blocking me in. They then came round the car opening my driver door, started shouting at me to “get out the fucking car I’m sick of cunts“ and asking “what the fuck is my problem” . Then the other girl kept shouting how she was going to stab me.
“I told her I never knew who she was to have a problem and that I wouldn’t get out my car. But they clearly weren’t happy with that answer which resulted in the two of them half dragging me out my car and attacking me. One had something in her hand which was quite heavy and repeatedly hut it into my face which has obviously burst all my face opened and got blood all over my car.
“Obviously got a fright as they stopped looked at me and sped off in their car.”
The teenager continued: “Honestly horrible could never imagine ever leaving anyone let alone someone I didn’t know and someone who was clearly feeling intimidated and scared 😫. But every dog has their day & karma never misses”
