A young man shot dead in a gang fight in the southside of Glasgow on Saturday night has been named locally.
23-year-old Jamie Lee (known locally as YL) from Ballantay in Castlemilk was shot dead after a mass brawl in a playground in the southside housing scheme.
It is believed that the gang fight was in relation to a family feud dating back generations and some locals believe the shooting could have been a case of mistaken identity with Lee’s family members being the original targets.
