Five young children have been injured after being hit by a maniac driver in at attempted murder in Castlemilk.
A 14-year-old suffered serious injuries including a broken neck.
She was taken by ambulance to Hairmyres Hospital where she is being treated for her injuries. Hospital staff describe her condition as serious.

Another four youths – three girls aged 12, 13 and 14 years and a 12 year-old boy – were treated for minor injuries either at local hospitals.
The children were all in a group of friends near Stravanan Shops in the southside scheme when the car came out of nowhere and rammed into them before driving off.
The man reportedly tried to intentionally hit someone else but missed and drove into the children instead- according to a witness.
Paramedics attended the area and police are still hunting for the person responsible who is said to have been driving a silver Vauxhall Astra.

The mother of the one of the victims said: “My daughter was one of the kids hit, when is this shit going to stop? 7 innocent children injured by the yobs of castlemilk, it’s a fucking disgrace . They want to lock these fuckers up n throw away the key .im absolutely raging.”
Another witness said:”It was shocking- it looked like the guy tried to intentionally hit someone but missed and drove into a group of kids.”
Rumours online are claiming the incident is related to a feud that left a young man dead last summer.
Another witness said:”It’s the first day the weans have had a chance to play outside and something like this happened.”
The young girl suffered a broken neck and may require surgery.
