Barmulloch: 14-year-old seriously injured after ‘stabbing attack’ at Glasgow school

A 14 year old schoolboy has been left hospitalised after a reported stabbing attack in the playground of a Glasgow school.

Blood is said to have covered the playground after the shocking attack within the grounds of All Saints secondary in Barmulloch.

As reported by Glasgow Live the police have been on the scene investigating since around 11am this morning.

It’s not yet known the full extent of what happened but pupils have been saying that they ‘feared for their life’ and had to go home.

Others say they will be scarred for life after seeing all the blood.

Social media postings suggest the boy was a fourth year who was stabbed after getting involved in a fight.

The Greater Glasgow Police Division said

Around 1135 hrs on Wednesday 24 January 2018, police received a report of a 14 year old boy being injured outside a school.

Emergency services attended and the boy has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

Enquiries are continuing and officers are following a positive line of enquiry.
